The Super Soul Bros. band has done a lot of great game music covers over the years, and if you’ve been to any conventions or seen any Fangamer events, you’ve probably seen them in action. They’re a lot of fun and put lots of energy into their music.
They recently released an album dedicated to EarthBound/MOTHER series music that I absolutely love, so I wanted to make sure I shared it here.

If you like their stuff, you can buy the full album here or even just get individual tracks that you’re especially fond of. They’re cool dudes that went from EarthBound fans to an actual touring band like the Runaway Five! Except I don’t think they shut off robots.

I love these guys! At E3 last year they were playing, asking for requests. I didn’t know what they played so I just shouted out “Something from Earthbound!” fully expecting nothing. They busted into “Naming, please” and I about flipped out.
Then I saw that one of the guys had a shirt with Ness on it so I went and picked one up from the store. They’re awesome! And this whole album was an excellent surprise! Hope they’re there again this year!

Probably my favorite band there is, to be honest. Great people, great music. The album is stellar. Definitely would recommend it.

Soooo… Are you not going to talk about Earthbound in Smash Ultimate? I know there always is, but I don’t think it’s not special, I mean, this site reports on every little thing. Magicant remaster and a 3D model for Kumatora and Boney for the first time is something important I would say.
