Super Smash Bros. is getting some new content, and one of the new things is a Flying Man costume for Mii fighters!
I’m kind of surprised – I never expected more EarthBound representation along these lines 😯

Mato, you made a post on this site earlier pointing out that a 3D model for Flying Man on the Magicant stage was seen in a prerelease screenshot. I wonder if they reused assets from that model for this?
I only ask because, out of all the many characters in the Mother series to give a Mii costume, Flying Man is kind of an odd choice. Still cool though!

@Yellowyoshi398 There was a chance for the Flying Man to be more in the Magicant stage, but for a reason he was made into his 16-bit self, and I think your answer is correct. Maybe used the leftover graphics and made something out of it.
As for the Costume it self, this is nice for EarthBound fans to have. Now, if only there is a chance for Fourside to return….
I’m the only one here who could give a sh*t less about Fire Emblem…
