EarthBound Bash Day 2 is Today!

One of the neat things the Starmen.Net community does is something called “Fantography”. It’s basically just taking photos of EarthBound stuff or EarthBound-inspired stuff. You can check out the entire Fantography section here.
I was curious to see if this was something Japanese fans do too… and I quickly stumbled upon this gallery of MOTHER 2-related food photos sent in by Japanese fans!
Here’s a brief look at them:

Clearly some of these have had more work put into them than others, but it’s the thought that counts at least.
This reminds me, I was thinking it’d be cool to do a live playthrough of the game where everytime a character has to eat a food item, I gotta eat it in real life too. And no PSI healing allowed. I think it might be too much to stomach though 😛

Eating food when ever you use a food item would be a funny game. I mean, you never really think about how much food these characters must be eating.
Also, I love all kinds of curry. Most awesome food ever. Of course, I grew up with it. Everyone’s got different tastes. Don’t know If I would want to try that trout yogurt.

@Mato Not reccomended if you’re playing Mother 3. Remember that overflowing toilet in New Pork? That was the end result of a guy eating all those nut cookies, cheese, and bags of pork chips.

This reminds me of the Famicom MOTHER manual. It had real pictures of the food items too, plus weapons and other items. Those pictures kind of make the game seem more realistic, even though they’re just in the manual.
