I just realized yesterday that I first bought/opened the EarthBound Central domain on Christmas of 2008, which makes the site four years old. I can’t believe it’s already been four years 😯
I want to thank all the readers and all the people who send in stuff to update about, EB Central would be nothing without you. For reference, there have been 1,545 updates – holy crap!
Anyway, there’s nothing much more to say than that, I just thought I’d share!
…I should’ve made a cake yesterday, oops.

I remember finding this site when it first started and creating an account here the second the forums went up. It’s almost hard to believe that it’s been nearly four years since I set this place as my homepage. I visit here everyday, and, yet, somehow, I don’t really end up visiting here. I should pop into the forums sometime and actually read some of the news posts instead of hurriedly rushing to whatever I need to do.

I’m just surprised the Western Mother community has been around for as long as it has, considering the only game in the series to be translated was released 17 years ago and only in America (apparently releasing RPGs in Europe was too much of a gamble back then?). That’s some serious dedication.
