Many years ago, when the Starmen.Net staff first heard about EarthBound being released on Virtual Console, excitement was pretty high and everyone understandably wanted the release to be a huge success. There were all kinds of project ideas, from a special EBFGP to wacky videos like this. Among these, Poe and I came up with the idea of doing a promo poster contest to try to spread the word about the release.
Of course, EarthBound on Virtual Console never came to be (for reasons outlined here) so the contest idea died too.
I recently found some early sample posters we were going to post and thought I’d share them!
Although the contest is dead and never going to happen, I’d love to hear/see what other kinds of posters people might’ve made! Share your ideas in the comments 😀
