The next set of MOTHER 2 prizes have been updated on Banpresto’s site. The next set of stuff being released in Japanese arcades late this month are a PVC figure of Dr. Saturn and the second mini-figure set, which consists of Ness, Dr. Andonuts, Jeff, and Mr. Saturn:
We’re just now starting to slowly see September’s stuff hit eBay, hopefully more will start appearing. If anyone gets ahold of any of these, please send in some pics or videos so I can share them with everyone here – I get the feeling most of us not in Japan won’t be able to afford more than just one or two of these 😐

Dr. Saturn looks plush, not PVC to me… is it just the picture? o_o
I signed up for a new YJA deputy site account today. I need all of these too badly to let them get by… I’ve been hoping for figures since the game’s release!
(Same with Chrono Trigger, which we got this year too!)

I long for that Dr. Saturn. But for some reason, the Mr. Saturn figure looks a bit different from usual, but I can’t put my finger on it.

I was holding out on the mini-figures pretty much until I could get the Gorgeous and Lucky, but… that Dr. Andonuts is kinda tempting…

For that Dr. Saturn picture, it appears that they may be using an image of one of their old plushes. It looks like the Mr. Saturn that game with the red bandana.

The PVC Mr. Saturn looks the teensiest bit strange, but I think that’s because the whisker appear to be painted on the sides rather than sculpted straight out.

I now have all the Mother 1 figures, they’re all stood around one of the original Banpresto Mr.Saturns and a tiny Mr.Saturn with googly eyes. 😀 I have been planning to take pictures for a while, so I’ll do that at some point.
Also aaaaa I want the mini figures I want all the mini figures I’m going to love and hug them all!! Not so bothered about the Mr.Saturns, though. I think I’m Saturn’d out.

I went to Japan last week.
And after many 100 yen coins, I now have the Mr. Saturn plush with the chain, and a Ness figure.
No way I’m selling those, BTW. They’re just too awesome.
