For those who’re interested in collecting EarthBound/MOTHER merchandise, those official MOTHER 1+2 Starman SMAAAASH! T-shirts are back in stock at the King of Games site, and available in all sizes! See the T-shirts here.
Whenever I post Japanese merchandise on the site, people are always shocked at the prices – but that’s just how much things are over there. So don’t be TOO shocked this time 😛

If you happened to come across these shirts in real life, you’d be a little less shocked, maybe. The quality is much, much higher than that of the $20 licensed t-shirts you’d find at any mall in the US. The-King-Of-Games makes the most high-quality t-shirts I’ve ever come across, and I’m happy to have quite a few in my collection. They’re definitely worth their price, and these limited run Starman Smaaaash! shirts are quite awesome.

Dang it! I want one but I so can’t afford it right now.
*sigh* minimum wage sucks barf 🙁
well i could wait 2 months and save up the money…
Oh, so MOTHER 1+2 is getting re-released? I guess that explains the deluge of MOTHER merchandise that’s been going on lately.
Also, how does an Adult S over here compare to their XS and S? Is it the same?

@IceSage: Where did you see that? Is it gonna be on GBA again or DS this time? o.o
It’s in the shirts’ description on King of Games. Unless it was a typo or something.
And I should have rephrased my question to “do KOG’s shirt sizes run bigger or smaller than usual?”

Pretty sure that’s the same description they’ve been using ever since they added the shirt to their website.
Well, I always buy a shirt in XL so it fits me just right after shrinking.
I purchased an XL shirt from these guys once, and it’s pretty much the same thing as an American XL.
So if you buy S-size shirts in the States, I would just get the S that they’re selling online.
And I agree with KingDarian, the quality surprised me when I got my shirt. It’s hard to describe. It’s like a warm, smooth blanket. ̄w ̄

I almost cried when I converted the price of an XL shirt. I was so sad. 🙁 I am doomed to have great sadness
I’m too shocked!
