ModNation Racers is a game for the PS3 that came out just recently. It’s like a Mario Kart type of game, but one of its coolest features is that you can make customized characters – and the level of customization is really good.
MightyYT and Tendablast have already made some really cool EarthBound-themed racers, here are some of them!
Wow, that’s a lot more than I thought I uploaded 😯 You can read more about them here, including how some of them are made.
This makes me wonder what a 3D EarthBound might look like if done well. Though it’d never be on the PS3, of course 😛

The second I heard about ModNation Racers, I just KNEW somebody would make EarthBound-themed stuff, and here it is, but it’s a LOT more than I expected! 😀

Yeah, I was pretty amazed that I could churn out 27 Mods with maybe 10% of the customizable options. I’m pretty excited to get my hands on the full game to see how much I can improve upon what I’ve already done!

I like the way the different Pokey/Porky versions are here. Yet, I think the Pokey in a striped suit is missing (although I think they will make one too!)
Furthermore, I superlatively like the Duster model (I can almost picture him walking with his limp!)and it scares me how flawless Carpainter, Pizza Delivery Guy and the Starmen are.
Quick. I need a PS3. Money, is what I want, money is what I strive for!

Well now I know I NEED to get this game now. Heard good things about it, but now it’s a shoo in. I thought it only had a track editor, and not a character creator. What a wicked awesome surprise.
