Tips for Buying EarthBound

March 15th, 2010 | Audio Stuff, EarthBound

This was sent in a little while ago but I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it so it’s a little late. Apparently someone made an album called “EarthBound ep.” and it has the “Earth Bound” title graphics from EarthBound Zero on the cover. You can see more info here.

Only the first song really seems to be EarthBound-related, but maybe I’m missing something.

Not really my cup of tea, but I know some people who are into really this kind of music.

I agree, doesn’t sound that great. Almost amateur at best, but it has promise. Just needs some work.

Personally, not my type of music, but I’m aware there are a good number of people who love this music. Not for me though 🙁

Aniki is not a combination of Gurren Lagann and Earthbound Music.

Disappointment ensues.

Oh Fruity Loops… how I hate thee…

EarthBoundRules said on Mar. 16, 2010

Eh, it’s okay but I wouldn’t download it.

Dadalama said on Mar. 16, 2010

it definitely smells of fruity loops. I guess not bad (some of us were duped into learning on it and have a hard time with better vst hubs)

Eh, if it ain’t Pollyanna, I’m likely not interested. :-\

these are awesome. at first I didn’t like them at all. but then I waited. because I know the remix rule. don’t judge the song till you’ve heard it for almost 2 minutes. so yeah. it’s alright. a step above amateur , but about 5 steps bellow pro. worth putting in my Ipod for sure on long walks in the city.

oops I said I’d try to clarify myself better. these aren’t great, but they aren’t horrible. I think that’s describes it best

I like Porky! It’s chill and fun. Sure it’s amateur, but I can jam to it; that’s what matters. The cover art looks pretty good too. I wonder if this will be sold on a physical disc.

On another note, it’s really cool to see a Japanese artist use the EARTHBOUND title!

To be honest I kind of enjoyed the first song (IMO Rock Candy tracks are so much better, but I digress). Then it kind of went downhill after that.

I like it, personally. There are a few hiccups here and there, but it’s very enjoyable.

I love 家 music

Might seem weird, but I could jam out to the first remix there. Like that one a lot. I’ve always had an aquired taste to this kind of music, though. 🙂

I certainly don’t have anything against electronic music (quite the opposite), but i really wasn’t impressed with… really any of it (ESPECIALLY Aniki. Never much cared for modern Dubstep). Der Filter was alright, though. It made me think of something a little more obscure that might occasionally pop up on a Godskitchen or Ministry of Sound compilation.
