A person by the internet name of Kimagure Mikan seems to be a huge Mr. Saturn fan, and on her (I’m assuming it’s a her) blog she posted her latest journey to acquire some of the new mini Mr. Saturn plushes from Japanese arcades. Check out some of her other pages too for some more awesome Mr. Saturn fun 😀
Anyway, here are some photos from Japanese arcades that have the Mr. Saturns. It’s interesting to see that every arcade has a different set-up for how you can win these.

Now at Round One in Yokohama:

Uh oh, is it that time?

Hurray!

Such a happy Saturn family!

By the way, if you’d like to see these images in really high-res, I put them in a big zip file here.
If you don’t have the luxury of visiting a Japanese arcade in the next month or so, you can still get your own mini Mr. Saturns here:
- Mini Mr. Saturn on eBay for $28.99 – several available!
- Mini Mr. Saturn on eBay for $29.95
- Mini Mr. Saturn on eBay for $29.95
- Mini Mr. Saturn on eBay for $46.99 – several available
- Yahoo Auctions Japan – you’ll need to use a deputy service like Celga though, so it could cost a bit and have a long shipping time
It’s too bad I’m not based in Japan or I’d offer some sort of service to EB Central readers so they could get MOTHER merch easily and cheaply. Maybe when I win the lottery or something 😛

That’s it, I’m moving to Japan. 😛
In all seriousness though, I totally need 5 of these so I, too, can make ladder. XD

I want 20 so I can see if it’s true only 5 can ladder
I like that they got the ladder going there. I’m also wondering if they brought the giant Mr.Saturn with them to pose for that shot, or if that one came with the store.
EDT: On closer inspection (of the giant image on the blog) I cannot gauge depth. But I knew that already.
I have 10 waiting for me in some Japanese warehouse haha. I’ll make two ladders!
I want those hanging flag-looking posters man. A few of them would look great across the top of my wall.
That blog is really cool. Also, sweet new wallpaper! http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/8719/mrsaturns.jpg
How are you supposed to get the giant bear in the fifth picture? 0_o

@Superblooper057:
Woah I just noticed how big that is.
Wouldn’t it break the claw thingy or whatever if someone tried to go for that one? XD

I get the feeling that the giant bear is there for decoration and to make the layout look more interesting. I could be wrong!
Wow, too bad I can’t see those arcade machines in person. At least I got one of those $30 eBay ones. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
Too cute! Just want to take them all home. <3 Think it would be fun to jump in a pile of Mr. Saturn plushies.

I want five minis, and a jumbo Saturn!

@Poe: Probably, though it does appear to be where the claw can touch it. It might not be, though. Probably just hard to tell in the picture.

I want them all and I have no job. I’m so sad. my dream is to fill a room of my house with Mr.Saturns and make the room look like a small scale Saturn valley, because I’m insane… I mean …. I talk to my Mr. Saturn Key chain (^o^;;
