EarthBound Teleport Bug?

Way back in 2008 (man it sounds weird saying that) Difegue made an EarthBound-themed Tetris fan game called Dakotris. You can download the game here!
The game also features the ability to play custom music, high score stuff, and block “flavors”, which is a lot like the “window flavor” system of EarthBound. Here are some examples:

You know how when you play a game like Tetris for too long you start to see the game playing out in your head when you close your eyes or try to sleep? Imagine if you played the Giygas-themed Tetris this game has to offer, mwa ha ha!
So get the game! It doesn’t stink like EarthBound!

Awesome, Dakotris!. And It’s my birthday today w00t! I’m so getting this thing!
It’s not working for me either, and when I try to delete it, it doesn’t. :/
Woah… This thing refuses to respond… It takes me to a screen full of gibberish and then I’m forced to use Force Quit… Mato are you SURE you have the correct link?. P.S. As said above it’s my b-day today, I was trying to send you news about these awesome EarthBound papercrafts my friend and I made but the pictures are 1.8 MB, and there’s two of them, I waited an hour for it to be sent, it just refused to send… I have no clue what to do.

Since I didn’t program it I can’t answer troubleshooting questions. Check the readme file for stuff, maybe Difegue can answer things for you.
For reference, also see here:

@Ninji: Surely the pics can be made smaller before sending them? Is there a reason they need to be so big? Can’t you resize them into normal size jpg files?
Well, apparently they were imported onto iPhoto, and I have absolutely no clue whatsoever on how to resize photos on iPhoto, but I’ll check for some answers on the internet ^_^

In re: seeing games in your head if you’ve been playing them too much, I remember a few years ago when I was playing far too much Mario Galaxy, and we drove home one night and passed these buildings:

My first thought was “wow, I bet I could wall jump up there!”
Doesn’t work for me. I’m using Windows 7, and it just opens up as a background process each time. Don’t click on it over and over if it doesn’t work, because that’ll just open up a boatload of processes and lock up your PC. Instead, either force quit, or kill the process through the task manager. Then you’ll be able to delete.
If only this worked on OS X… I’d be able to play it on the mac I’m cursed to have.

I tried in Boot Camp, very nice!
This looks epic. I’m definitely downloading it.
Can it play .mp3 files? My computer doesn’t like .ogg files. :c

Postin’ quick troubleshooting stuff because I’m at school yay
About the freezing problems: I’m retarded, and forgot to make the game Vista-compatible.
I’ll get to release a Vista version tomorrow or so, but if you can’t wait, you can pass it through this little program there and it should work. Same issue for Seven.

also, this is .ogg only, yeah.
I could have programmed it to accept .mp3 files, but the only convenient .dll I found awas for .oggs.
I remember in 2009 trying to make it ogg and mp3 compatible with a general DLL, but I just ended up failing everything :V
You can convert mp3s to ogg with Audacity if I remember
Pretty fun game. It’s too bad I suck at tetris, or I’d be hooked on this.

Well, Giygas doesn’t look much like a fetus now, eh?
I converted otome no inori to ogg and placed it in the folder for the game and then I got distracted singing… lol
My Computer can’t run this! I click on it and it doesn’t do anything but give me the waiting cursor! this sucks!!!!!
The Game doesn’t work! All I get is a crash message as soon as I launch it.
it wont work )’:
