An Almighty Super Smash Bros. Guide Typo

Over on the Starmen.Net forums, Narkumi posted about a lucky find not too long ago:
Found one at a local used electronics store that sells everything(books, cds, dvds, current/old gen games) for $3.98, just last year. It was the cheapest SNES game they had. =/
Check absolutely everywhere. Pawnshops usually are the suckers that sell all their SNES games for like $5.00 each, regardless of their availability/demand.

That is INSANE. Seriously, look at the prices some people are selling EarthBound – cart only! – for: ouch ouch!
So when people say that you should check around local shops and places for good deals (especially with EarthBound), this is why.

My copy of EarthBound was 3.00 at a thrift store.
Thats so lucky I wish I had gotten that good a deal on my copy I had to pay over $80 for just the cartridge. But it was worth every penny.
This inspires me to make another fruitless attempt at searching all the thrift stores, flea markets, and pawn shops within a 20 mile radius of my house…

p.s. i would have boughten it but i noticed it after i spent my cash and i dont have a snes but i wish i could go back in time and use my knowlege and get it.
I know! I live around so many Pawn Shops & Thrift Stores too, but I have no time to go to them since I don’t have a car.
I got my Mother 3 copy for 4 bucks, and a flash cart for the Mother 3 Fan Translation for just 3 bucks.
Hes right about Pawnshops, I remember awhile ago when I went to Goodwill, I saw FF7 sitting their for around $8 which included all the discs and not just 1.
Sweet maybe I should try checking around like I always have to do when I need more pencils!!! (It’s hard to find a store that sells pencils I will actually use)

Hey, I’ll buy it from you for $10. You’ll be making a profit lol.
Whoa! Now that is extremely lucky! $3.95, even I would get that IF it was in a local store, even though I don’t have an NTSC SNES I’d still get it. (but it’s a big if)
Holy cow, I know that store.
Wish I was there when that was there.
We just had a Play n’ Trade open where I live. I’ve checked there a few times and no Earthbound yet. But if Earthbound is going to show up, this is the place.

At SmaMan:
Play N’ Trade is indeed a very good place to buy Earthbound- 30 bucks, according to the employee I talked to.
Cool! I can live with that price. Let’s hope it shows up soon. It seems like the majority of their classic collection is from someone named “Kolby” as most of the carts have his name sharpied on them.
@Komaru
$30, man. the play n’ trade where I live has it priced at $70.
It’s an shame that this is an rarity. Most copies goes for $100 or more. The game needs an VC release.
😮 😮 😮 I have just GOT TO find a Pawn Shop like this one, imagine how many rare games I’ll find for dirt cheap prices, I might even find sealed games for SNES and Game Boy, like PKMN Red,Yellow, and Blue for like 5.00 each *drools*
I whish i got my copy of eathbound for $3. I got my copy of earthbound for $80 on ebay.
They used to have one for about 6.95 on the internet. I should’ve bought it:( No all of them are 100+ dollars!
We have a local store called The Bargain Box, I go there about once a week, they have all these old video games and DVDs, I have yet to see a copy of Earthbound. Someday…
God, I love McKay’s! <3 Nice find! The McKay's near where I live didn't have a copy of EB, but they did have a SNES for like $50.
