Tips for Buying EarthBound

August 18th, 2009 | EarthBound, Fan Games, Videos

A little while back, this 3D version of Onett made people salivate. However, 3D versions of EarthBound towns have been around for much longer, and it’d be a shame not to mention these great ones made by cswavely:

Onett (and outskirts) in 3D

Fourside in 3D

Threed in 3D

Halloween in Happy Happy Village

Cave of the Past

And as a final non-EarthBound bonus, here’s Kakariko Village in 3D 😀

Are those last two HL2 mods? Anyone know where to find them?

EBX – if you check the info on YouTube for the last two videos, you’d see that they are Unreal Tournament 3 maps.

I’ve seen all of them before except for the Happy Happy one. These are really good! 🙂

woah that Fourside remix is sweet! Anyone know where I can find it?

Fourside has always been my favorite place in EB.
It looks a lot better then I expected. Good job.

I’m working on a version of Onett that’s not so…pixely? These are nice, but I’m gonna go for a mix of real and EBness, so somewhere in the middle. When I get some good substance going, I’ll post it on the forums here to see what EB fans think.
