Whoa, I never thought this would make it to EarthBound Central! 😀 When I started this hack, I was mostly interested in taking Starmen.net members and putting them into the game that everybody loved. It took eight and a half months to finish, and a lot of people put a lot of work into this.

I’m sorry that you don’t have time to play this, Tomato, but I understand how it is.

But man, am I happy to see this finally finished. 😀

I might play this if I ever get the spare time! I like the Majora’s Mask enemy 😛

And if you’re wondering, the Majora’s Mask enemy is the Ghost of Jojora, and the Miracle Starman is Miracle Fassad’s enemy.

And that’s Clayman in the left picture. Too bad about him leaving though. We both joined Starmen.net at about the same time, so it’s weird how he’s not going to be around anymore.

That thing wearing Majora’s Mask – it kinda looks like that weird ghost girl from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga…found in Joke’s End. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

Erm. One problem I found (other than the patcher being an EXE… Failmac fails at EXEs) was that after applying the patch and walking outside to actually get on with things with fighting and such…

Well, I saw about 90 other Ness characters on screen, all of which bumrushed me at once and thus froze the game upon the screen transition to the battle screen.

Guessing something needs to be done about fixing that unless the auto patcher does so. 🙁

EarthBound hacking is kind of strange so very often you need to use a very specific patcher (like the one I provided). You can also use PK Hack to patch the ROM, and PK Hack is a cross-platform Java app so it’d work on Macs just fine too. But it’s a lot of work to get it and set everything up just to patch a game. It might be best if you ask someone to patch it for you and then send you the ROM or something.

Guess I’ll try that, then. Or somehow attempt a madness runthrough with literal hordes of enemies swarming me en masse.

That Easy patcher thing is amazing. I’m looking forward to playing through EB with this!

Deej: Yeah, that’s already happened to several people. It IS caused by patching the ROM wrong. I’d suggest using PK Hack, and expanding the ROM to the largest size it lets you.

hehehe… I tried to soft patch it, and this is how it went.

“Hmm.. the police sprite is different, ok. Alright, I finally get to see some enemies! lol, lag. Wait, OHMYGODSOMUCHNESSWHY?!!!”

I don’t think facing the Ghost of Jojora is a good idea. He starts out with PSI Starstorm α, flashes a menacing smile, counts from 3, and uses PSI Starstorm Ω as his last resort, in order. Defeat him fast.

Majora’s Mask used PK CRASH-A-MOON-INTO-YOUR-FACE!!!!

XX stone put Mother 3 and Zelda. Now what a Goomba for Mario? And only 8 1/2 months!? I wish I could play this, darn computer memory!

im sorry i didnt add all the frames of lucas moving but its an ok hack. works on:zsnes and other snes emulators.
