Tips for Buying EarthBound

April 10th, 2009 | Images, MOTHER 3

RayMonster posted these on the Starmen.Net forums. They’re LEGO versions of stuff from MOTHER 3!

RayMonster also added this:

I don’t know if anyone’s ever thought of this before, but I hope you liked my small creations. I’m something of an amateur architect, so I have tons of LEGO pieces. I actually kind of want to create the entire Mother 3 cast, then maybe create a stop-motion movie using the minifigs.

Sounds good to me 😀

Always love Porky’s Mechanical Deathbed of Death. Raymonster should put together some intructions for these if he’s going to do more.

I miss the days of Legos…back when there were houses and stuff and not just Harry Potter. Bleck.

Anyway, what set is the Kumatora hair from?

That Mr Saturn is so LULZY.

Darien said on Apr. 10, 2009

I love the Mr. Saturn. Simple and elegant.

Oh, and, Spitball Sparky, they make quite a huge range of Lego products, not just Harry Potter. The city set — which has “houses and stuff” — is actually one of the more popular, currently: http://city.lego.com/en-US/default.aspx

They really do have a lot of different products. And, yes, they still sell just basic blocks if that’s what you want. (And Duplo!)

This is genius. Thank you!

So awesome. I applaud any idea of a stop motion movie with these. But don’t make it too serious! It’d be to hard to be serious with Legos!

Briianz said on Apr. 10, 2009

awesomeness, legos and Mother 3 FTW….I want legos now.

I tried making MOTHER LEGO stuff once, but then I relised I don’t have the right peices.

FuzzyPicklez said on Apr. 21, 2009

Last weekend I was in a place with Legos and I started to build Porky in his bed mecha.

BTW, if you need hair for Porky, just put regular hair on him backwards.

Claus said on Apr. 21, 2009

Porky lost a lot of weight.

dark-karito said on Apr. 29, 2009

GWAAAAARG!!!! I have the most epicly detailed Lego Porky Mech in myroom but i dont have the time to take a pcture of it and upload…

I made sure EVERY side was PERFECT, i scrapped so many of my creatons to build it, and my very own OLD porky and pigmask, but then again I’m typically obsessed with Legos, I have a MOCpages account with some neat-o Metroid stuff on it, if i can remember how to get on…

this is pretty cool

TypeZer0h said on Dec. 24, 2009

Somewhat plain, but still an awesome idea! If you could “customize” your legos you could add a higher degree of detail.

That would be cool if Lego made a Earthbound/Mother series line of sets. I would buy everyone. even if everyone calls me dumb for liking Earthbound! It would be cool to have a Lego Kumatora, Ness, Paula and a if they made the Devil’s machine a set I would buy that! Sure it would be expensive but it would be awesome. I have also tried making Lego Earthbound stuff as well. I made Flint, Lucas, Ninten and a Ness! Good job keep up the great work
