Cool, we’re in the double digits now! That means the site’s been around a little over 70 days then. 70 days, with usually a few updates a day… I must be crazy 😯
This week was an especially interesting one. We had all kinds of updates, and much of it good quality stuff! I’m worried that a year from now we’ll have dried up all the cool content so we’ll be stuck with videos and recycled material, but that’ll happen at some point no matter what, so let’s not worry about it too much I guess.
Anyway, let’s have a look at what happened this week!
Site News
- I added a fan-made merchandise page. It’s still unfinished, but I plan to update it whenever cool, new fan-made merchandise gets made, so if that sounds interesting to you, check the page out. I plan to add a similar page for Fangamer merchandise and possibly EB Central stuff, if I can come up with any interesting stuff.
- The offer for custom blog avatars/forum badges is still open for a while longer
- I’m still slowly working on the MOTHER 1+2 translation script (for the first game). It’s not a main focus right now, but I have some new things on the horizon I want to start sometime, so I’ll try to focus more on this translation to get it out of the way.

What’s Up With Itoi
Two main things that I remember from this past week. One, Itoi was HUNGRY. Two, Itoi won the first annual Juzo Itami Award. Oh, and his dog Bouillon is famous and has his own book and online shop now.
Upcoming Stuff
I think we’ll do another food-related thing this upcoming week. M2EB updates will slow down now, because I gotta replay through a few areas of the game to get caught up to where I am in MOTHER 2. We’ll look at some more EarthBound 64 stuff and some interesting pre-MOTHER 3 stuff. And then all the usual stuff that the site always gets updated with 😛
End
This week was a fun one. Some real good updates. If you have any news or suggestions of cool stuff that might be worth an update, let me know so we can keep the updates coming 😀

The Sirens of Titan is one of my favorite Vonnegut novels. Maybe I should try to pick out EB-related things one day…

Wait, his dog’s name is “Bouillon,” with the i *before* the ll? I seriously only just noticed this. I always thought it was “Boullion,” like as in salty broth cubes. Which I thought was a pretty hilarious name for a dog, I have to say.

Actually, I believe the i does come before the ll for the broth. It’s one of them crazy French words.

Geez, dude, you’re totally right. I never noticed this. I feel like a complete fool. 🙂
MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE!
I like this site a lot, it gives me the nostalgic feeling of older Starmen.net when I first found the site nearly a decade ago. I would just look at the EB clay models, cram my head full of info, and look at flukes that I thought were humorous at the time. On this site, I learn even more obscure information about the series, look at funny parodies of the Mother series’s commercials, and research the beta info. about EB… My ways haven’t really changed…
