Yet another update about the recent super-giant Mr. Saturn plushies. Like I mentioned a few days back, the second run has started, since demand totally eclipsed the initial supply. In this second round, everyone who orders one is guaranteed to get one.
It seemed for a while that only people who placed an order during the first run and didn’t get picked in the lottery drawing could place an order in the second run.
But the site has been updated, and now anyone can place an order.
So if you still want to place an order for one of these giant Mr. Saturn plushes, you have until March 22nd (remember Japan is a day ahead usually). Of course, they still have no option for shipping outside of Japan, so if you don’t live in Japan, you’ll need a middleman like Celga. If you’d like to let Banpresto know there’s a demand for this kind of stuff outside of Japan too, check this out.
Thanks to Pigmask Private for the heads-up!

Im ordering mine this week Im so excited!
I just got to figure out how Celga works.
Hey. Thanks to Pigmask Private for pointing this out. I’ve been wanting to get one of these.
I realy need to know how much it’ll end up being if I order with Celga. Shipping included.
I just placed an order through Celga, and I had to make a deposit of $130 dollars. It is a bit weird though, as it is a form you fill out the url of the website, the price of the item, etc. It bases the price of the deposit off of the amount you put in the price box. I’ll update when I hear back from them.
I would also like to know how much it costs through Celga. Thanks!

It would be best to ask the Celga people and not me. I have no idea how much it’ll come to if you use them, and shipping can vary greatly by location, so I have no idea.
The total of 12,000 yen came out to like $144 and the shipping charge Celga applied after that (I’m sure this also included whatever fees they charged for their service) was about $20. Assuming that I have paid for in full for everything including shipping and fees, the total is a little over $160 through Celga.
On an unrelated side note, Mato, is it possible to change my icon on EBC? I don’t want to be represented by a Polestar Preschool girl. Could I have a Fobby instead? I couldn’t, for the life of me, find an option to change it anywhere on this site.

I gave custom avatars out several weeks back, but only for a limited time. I’ll probably give out custom avatars at some point in the future in some way or another, but for now you’re stuck with whatever the random sprite generator assigns you. It stuck me with this stupid unused flag icon even 😛

Is that how you got the flag? I figured you changed that on purpose for whatever reason. Shows me.
Though neither of you has a patch on the icon I had before my custom avatar was done: I had pulled a blank sprite. No picture whatsoever.
I signed up for 2 “lottery” entries for the last one but lost both of them. 🙁 This sucker’s mine this time, though.
maybe starmen.net might use one of these “knee high” saturns at one of their funfests
Noooooo! I was wondering what was happening with these. I originally ordered mine through Celga back in February, and never bothered to check around and figured whatever happens happens. Now I see you could re-order if you didn’t get one and I missed the deadline. Total Bummer. To make it worse, I don’t even know if my first order through Celga went through because I’m an idiot and didn’t check my invoice to see I owed an extra 20 bucks. *sigh*
I’m probably going to buy one of those 1 foot tall Mr. Saturn plushes that sell for about $20.00 on Ebay.
I wish I knew about these 2 years ago. I could’ve gotten one of these for my birthday. (RAGE)
I just went to the site and noticed the little yellow button. I’ll be sure to order one of these.
