What’s up? Something’s been bothering me for a while… Why doesn’t the Death Ray actually kill anything when used?

Death Ray is probably victim to the ‘destruction weapon failure’, simply because of the naming convention. It will mis-fire, or not quite do its’ intended job, because it’s called a death ray.

Kind of like how a villain in a TV show, no matter how good his plan is, will lose because that’s the order of things. The Death Ray is like EarthBound’s version of that.

It does kill people! It’s like the sun: it gives rays of light, so one day, all those Chompsaurs will die from cancer!

Well, it’s not an “Instant Death” Ray, just a “Death Ray.” So, like most things, if used enough times, it can kill. I guess that Jeff is just a nice guy~

In Tenda Village, you find it in a trash can at the bottom right corner of it.

Answer: When Jeff equips it, it increases the offense by 90.

  • Esper: Dammit I’d prefer the new one if the “set” didn’t such blow into the mic. Love the official Lucas voice though!
