I put a forum for that up on MY site evern though I don't think my site will have any active members anytime soon

I agree with Mr. Saturn. It's usually a good idea to have an off topic forum for people to vent their inevitable non-EB related discussions.

I think its a good idea to add more forums, but as Mato said he is a little busy but as the sight gets older it will progress, its still a newborn forums after all

It depends. If people want to vent their non-EB related discussion why do it on an EB Central board? Does that make sense? Perhaps, if you enjoy the company of this community but still doesn't quite make sense.

I think that's it. they want to share it with all of an earthbound community. sure they could put it somewhere else. but it wouldn't get the people they want reading it. it makes sense to me.
like I wrote a blog this morning about an earthbound dream I had. But, I don't think it's earthbound enough to share with this forum. so I wrote about it in my blog instead. if there was an off topic forum. i could have written about it on here like I desired too

That's exactly it. Instead of going to a different forum for everything, sometimes it's nice to discuss something and see the opinions of people who share a common interest other than the topic you are discussing. I see Mato has added a general Discussion board, so we can see how well it works out.
