Well, unless you go straight to earthboundcentral.com/forum, you probably noticed the post on the front page. If you didn't, go look!

I really like the ball n' chain Mr Saturn. A good thing to note is that it appears to have actually be differently shaped than the previous Mr. Saturn plushies. This one looks a little more faithful to the game sprite. Belch however, I don't even know if I want one of those. He kinda look like a mutant octopus with really stubby tentacles.

11cm eh?

So what other plushes are these comparable to in size? The regular Mr.Saturns or the minis?

11cm is about 4.3in. The mini Saturns are just over 2in w/o hair and the mid-sized Saturns are about 6in w/o hair. So these fall right in the middle of the previous two.

Soon we'll be able to make a Mr. Saturn parody of the old Cingular commercials "Raising the bar."

Wow. As I commented on the blog post for this I would do pretty much anything for one of the posters in the back of the claw machine. Those things are absolutely gorgeous.

if you can get your own plain ticket to japan, I can let you borrow my black blind fold with eyes cut out. my black pants and my black and white striped shirt. wearing them all together gives you super powers. and then you could use those super powers to stuff them in a hankerchief tied to a stick. you could fit a car in there as long as you're waring the outfit.. so don't worry, the poster won't get damaged...

I'm just kidding of course.

this whole message could be spam? but it's not. I imagine if you ever see one for auction. it was probably stolen. (as with most video game posters or cardboard cutouts)

most of the previous Mother posters have been kinda bland. yes, we're fortunate to even have them, but i would want more than just the Mother 1+2 logo or Mother 3 logo.
i agree though, that crane machine poster is the best one i've seen so far. i would still prefer an EB starman cardboard stand though.

So it looks like the dust has started to settle on these.

I'm hoping the next merchandise all ends up coming in 'waves' so that there's plenty to go around. If all arcades are getting the same few figures for a set period of time then I'm guessing prices will level out the same way they did with the plushes. They look to be running lower than my JPY 2,000 estimate so that gives me a lot of hope that the figures will be obtainable for a reasonable amount. All in all I kind of regret purchasing the plushes and have a feeling I will just end up re-selling them so I can focus on the figures.

I want one of those EB stands or the posters SO badly. I definitely like the NA EB promo material more than the bland JP stuff. Partly because the name is the one I originally saw, also because there's significantly less of it, and lastly because its much more colorful and impressive really.

There's a set of 2 for about $114 shipped to USA. I'm so tempted to click "Buy it now"

I wonder if I can get them cheaper? I need to think on this. >.<
