I don't know yet, I haven't thought about messing with the M2 side of stuff any more. I'll let you know if I decide to, but probably I won't touch the M2 side because I want to ensure that nothing gets accidentally broken when I release a new patch.

I'm pretty sure nothing will be broken. But just in case, I'll supply the necessary coding and you (or someone else) could test it out and see if you want it. I have a test version of the translation that is fully compatible with your translation (all-caps, no gfx work, etc.) that has more stuff than this and I've been playing through it and nothing seems to be broken. You don't have to take everything if you don't want to, but I supplied what I thought might benefit the translation.



Also, quick recommendation. If you do make a new patch, I would suggest changing EQUP (in the command menu) to GEAR. It means basically the same and it's a full word.

(Bumping for update) Well I'm almost off of school, and I will get more scripts in at that time. Just one more week and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Ok then. Remember, only plot-important dialogue, battle text, and menu text. Dialogue not important to the plot will be saved for last.

I'm gonna try out the latest translation patch. I'd prefer to wait until it's fully completed, but for now, I'd like to see the progress since the last trailer.

EDIT: After playing a bit of the translation and then looking at the Starmen.net topic, I just want to add (3 months late, but eh) that I wouldn't mind Everdred being known as Knuckle Ed. I've always wanted an English version of Earthbound that's much closer to Mother 2 than the official localization, plus I'd love to be able to play all 3 Mother games on the GBA. You guys have probably already figured all that out by now, so please continue what you're doing.
