Welcome to the site, always fun to have new members. Its a shame the game didn't get a PAL release. Just pirated reproduction carts which aren't really official or anything.

Welcome. This site could have more active members, so the more, the better.
On the topic, I'm actually feeling very addicted to Digimon.
But, I can't help it. It has the best anime music, in my opinion.

Gooptek isn't Digiemon pretty much a rip off Pokemon, except animals can talk?

People say so, and Digimon fans say that Pokémon and Digimon are very different...
In a way, it is. Digimon are made of Data and have more complex evolutionary trees (yes, some have more evolutions than Eevee), some (if not most) of the Digimon act by instinct without even ratiocinating, and the Digimon have their own dimension, the Digital World.
However, Digimon does seem to be a Pokémon ripoff. Comparing things like the DigiTamas and the Pokémon Eggs, the X-Antibody and the Pokérus, Yggdrassil and Arceus, the Digimentals and the Evolutionary Stones, among other things, it is easy to get to that conclusion.
However, I still prefer Digimon. Computation and all that.
