Post subject: Console help. I keep getting shocked

I know it sounds a bit far fetched but whenever I try and hook up a few of my older game consoles via an rf connection I get shocked. It only occurs when I touch the metal end of the rf cable that goes into the tv. The shock is not lethal but it is enough to hurt. I have tried using two separate rf cables but they both yield the same result. I have tried it with a sega genesis model 1 and sega CD and when I tried to use the genesis today I got a shock whenever from the headphone socket. I also have tried hooking a turbografx 16 to the same tv but I still get shocked from the rf cable.

I don't know what could be causing this but I was hoping someone here might know. I do have four consoles hooked up to the same tv (five if you count the genesis and Sega CD as two separate consoles) so maybe have so much hooked up could be causing it. Also it isn't just a quick static shock you get from a carpet but it's a steady shock like a joke pen but worse. If anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated.

I think you need to just take it into a shop and get it fixed. It may be too complicated for someone to explain this to you... maybe

I'm half thinking it's the tv since it didn't shock me when I tried a different tv. Either way I'm probably just gonna use av inputs from now on. It gives you better picture and sound quality anyway. It might be hard to explain but I was also kinda curious if anyone else had the same problem.
