Tons more but I tend to go gaga for the games that drop late in a generational cycle. Thus far I have been mostly unimpressed with the lineup of current gen retail offerings and there have been few standouts. Lots of cool little half baked ideas (NOBY!) that could have used more time in the oven and maybe a retail release that consisted of a case with a download code. I have *very* high hopes for Ni No Kuni on both systems but other than that there's not a lot that thrills me about the current gen. I've been playing and re-playing older titles constantly mining them for ideas that could be applied to modern games and am becoming biased as a result.

I like all sport games on Wii

I've lately been doing a lot of nostalgia gaming. That is, I've been nostalgia gaming for the past three years or so. Some of my favorites . . .

Super Mario 64 (the best freakin' game ever in my opinion)
Megaman . . . not really nostalgia because I didn't play them as a kid, but they're almost all AWESOME
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past . . . and many other Zelda games
Chrono Trigger . . . trying Chrono Cross but not really getting into it much
Super Metroid . . . and many others as well
Super Mario Bros. games on the NES, especially 2 (American) and 3
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 on the Sega Genesis
Final Fantasy 1-7 . . . I'm about to play 8 and 9 and then I'll probably stop

Some pretty good games that I've played recently . . .

Banjo Kazooie . . . playing Banjo Tooie now and it's REALLY SLOW, but still somewhat fun
Kirby's Adventure (NES)
Scott Pilgrim (Xbox/PS3 download)
Dune 2000 . . . only beat Ordos as a kid, but now I'm going to play the other houses too
Portal . . . still have Portal 2 just sitting there, waiting to be played

Games that are/look NOT AT ALL fun to me . . .

Fire Emblem (waiting for the lynch mob)
Final Fantasy Tactics (notice a pattern yet?)
Fable
Most fighting games, with BlazBlue as a major exception (probably for its cracked out storyline)
Many sandbox games, not sure why
Lots of RPGs . . . I feel like that's a genre that can easily create crappy games, among many gems
