It's hard to explain because there are different ways to play it. But basically, you are given a little world where you mine, build, and explore in. And everything is made of blocks.
There's a classic mode where you can build whatever you want, even has multiplayer. You can't die.
Then if you buy the game you get survival mode where you have to start with nothing and mine and craft your way to glory. There are enemies, gold, and even little secret additions like dungeons and rare items.
There is no way to win the game. When you die, you lose your items but remain in the world you were in before.
I had no idea what to expect when I went into this game but discovered that it's actually really cool. If you're in to building, collecting, and maintaining, this game should be pretty fun for you.
