My next catch will hopefully be a Mother 3 deluxe box set, I'm watching one right now on ebay... now to just wait till I get paid

If you don't want to pay as much for a Mother 3 deluxe box, I recommend checking on Yahoo Auctions Japan and using Celga to get it. They sell for a bit cheaper on there. The only bad thing is, Celga has to take out the lithium battery from the Micro before they send it to you.

Whoa, really? Do you have to get your own battery then?

Yeah, unfortunately that's the way it seems. I've never actually won one to find out.

I vaguely recall reading something about how all importers were getting their VITA's from Hong Kong due to the new battery restrictions. I don't believe NOA still has the micro batteries for sale. Good luck

eBay has the batteries for reasonably cheap, but they're not "official", which is a deal breaker for me. I want mine to be authentic as possible.

Man, that sucks. That one guy was selling a brand new M3DX box on Yahoo Japan, just think if you ordered that and then someone had to ransack it and take it apart

Is this a new law in Japan? Or does it only apply to certain companies? Like what if I import a brand new handheld system with a rechargeable battery from Amazon Japan? Will a legit retailer like them be forced to remove the battery before shipping?
