"On top of that, Banpresto has made new MOTHER and MOTHER 2 figures and plushes that will be used as crane game prizes starting in June. On the day of this event, though, they will be shown to the public for the very first time!"

With "new figures" and "new plushes" coming soon, I thought it be fun to post what YOU hope is coming soon.

It seems to me that a good bit of MOTHER merch is coming soon, and at possibly low(ish) prices. I'm rooting for Chosen Four figures and plushes, personally.

Ooh, maybe something related to the Franklin Badge.
WOAH, A Franklin Badge pillow or cushion would be bawesome.

So, what do YOU want to be released?

I want to see a more complicated plush, like a Gabilan or something. I'll be happy with a plush of any enemy, really. There are a ton to choose from and Mr. Saturn is getting pretty played out.

I'm going to assume many of the main characters from both games will be made into merch. But I'm hoping that they'll make enemy plushies, a Runaway Dog plush would be pretty cool

I want to see plushies made of the Sharks as well as the chosen four.

I would like to see figures more than plushies. Personally, a bunch of plush dolls all over my room will be a little weird.

I'm really hoping for a Ness figure above all, but a whole chosen four set would be really awesome to have on a shelf. It'd be really cool if they were in battle poses.

Enemies would be great too. I think I'll be happy with pretty much anything as long as they look accurate and are good quality.

Since I don't own any mother merch as of yet (I'm a newbie to the series) my expectations are probably too high, so I'll just go with this: Some sweet posters of final boss battles...

While I think Final boss fights would be a bit... unMOTHEResque.... Some posters would be nice. Until now, all the official MOTHER posters were just store posters that people happened to get ahold of.

Like that damn EarthBound poster (I'd do anything for that poster)

Yeah, yeah, I know...I just don't want the generic swirly things with "This game stinks! It's Earthbound!" in the middle, and I'm sick of store posters.

Store posters are a little more intriguing to me personally because of the rarity and the likelihood of owning one. There are far less stores to give a promotional poster to than people to sell a novelty poster to. And if you happened to actually obtain the poster from a store yourself, then you have an awesome story behind the thing.

However, I'd love to see some official posters that aren't all...

But Banpresto doesn't sell posters afaik, and I don't think they're making any here.

Store posters are fantastic. Aside from the poster advertising the Mr.Saturn strap all of the others are very well designed even if you forget for a minute that they are advertising 'just a videogame.' The Mother 3 poster is a particularly nicely done poster. My girlfriend and her friends all drooled over the pictures from starmen.net when I showed them.

It's a shame they're terribly rare these days I'm something of a handbill/poster junkie and I've only seen that one poster with the singer from SMAP floating around recently. Zero chance of me buying it. I managed to pick up handbills from the original Mother as well as Mother 2 and they do look nice but I'm still green with envy for the posters.

Anyways back on topic. Neonix, in your M1+2 signed thread you posted a picture of the crane machine. There were promo posters in the back of the machine so perhaps posters/flyers like it will happen to appear on YAJ in the future. We're...about a half day away from the event now, correct? I don't know how active the Mother community abroad is but I'm hoping we'll see some details on the new merch by tomorrow night.
