I absolutely would. I know someday my cartridge may break or something so having it on my Wii would be nice. It'd be even cooler if it was on the 3DS as well. I'd love to take it on road trips and stuff. I was thinking of using and R4 card to do this but I'm too lazy at the moment to attempt it.

SNES emulators on the DS aren't exactly the best emulators around. The closest I've seen is CATSFC for the Supercard DSTWO, and there's horrible input lag on that.

But anyways, I would gladly dump as much money as possible on any iteration of any Mother game on the Wii or 3DS, though I doubt it'll be on the Wii, as Nintendo's getting ready to roll out the Wii U.

Chances are that I'm not going to spend over $100 on a game that should be way less cheaper, since EarthBound is NOT rare. I would love to play Earthbound on my TV screen however. If I did have EarthBound on a Cart, yes I would still buy the VC of it (It's only 500 points). Mostly because I don't want to be in the hassle of switch between systems.

:D yes i would for 3 reasons

1.Ebay haz earthbound for to much buckz.

2.SNES break easily then wii

3.This would get nintendo to make all mother games on ds. also in amarica.

i think.

If it is true i will be like :o

Hahaha what? The SNES is nearly impossible to break. DUST can cause a Wii to stop reading disks, and digital downloads can be lost easier than a cartridge.

Also Nintendo is done with the DS and unless the 3DS e-shop starts selling SNES games then we won't have any chance of a new release until the WiiU is released. That's almost a false hope, though, since its just going to have the same Virtual Console as the Wii.

Even the newest MOTHER game is antiquated to the point where a remake would be necessary instead of a straight port. I doubt that Itoi wants anybody to mess with his game so just get used to not having the games officially released in English.

Piracy's the way to go unless you want to save up and buy EarthBound for $140 on EBay.

I would definitely to support the sereies, regardless of whether or not I own the game.
