Alrighty then. I'll get to making it all caps ASAP. Also, be sure to credit Jeffman too; without his help, this wouldn't have been possible.

By the way, do you want me to change what the stuff says (like, "Name the boy", "Name her too", etc.), or is what I have OK?

Looks like things are going good, but you might want to rename the future patches, anything but "Version 1.0". That would make it sound complete.

I'm using kind of a weird system of counting, so the version after 0.9 is going to be 0.10, unless I change my mind to use something like hex numbers (which would make it really weird), or there's not a very big change to the patch, in which case it will be 0.9.1. A very big change would be if I completed the file select screen (the Copy option is coded strangely, so it's incomplete) and if I completed both the windows where you name the player. Both of those will probably be a long ways off, however, unless I get really motivated to check through the game's graphics pointers, or if I get the no$gba dugger and use it (which is not likely).

I heard on you facebook that your need to reword the enemy names due to limit. Do you mean changing some name's like the ant ant black to the black ant for example? Because if so i might be able to help with that. :) I can also read a little japanese if needed. Im still learning though.

Yes, I do need help for rewording enemy names. Ant Ant Black can stay because it can fit, just the word Black is shortened to Blk. Try to stay as close to the Mother 2 names as possible, but at the same time try not to abbreviate unless it's a common abbreviation (or just taking out some/all of the vowels), or unless it's necessary.

Knowing Japanese isn't going to help this part of the translation much, because the translating's already been done. I would like to learn Japanese though...

So about the limitation. Do spaces count? Because i noticed "ant ant blk" would be to long with the spaces.

Yes, spaces count. In Ant Ant Black's case, the abbreviation would be AntAnt Blk.

Theoretically, yes, but it would be difficult. You could add one or two more spaces if you could shift the enemy's name to the left (in the To: box) but that would probably require some ASM hacking (which I know nothing of).

Would it be okay to use another meaning for a word?

Like changing ungrateful in ungrateful crow to ingrate for example? Or would you rather to keep it the same but find another way to shorten it?
