You're right, wow. We've come a long way in one year. Just think, when I started this, I was only able to do minor text editing with an all-caps font. Now I can do so much more, including editing the graphics on the title and naming screens, working with a lowercase font, and re-pointing data!

Speaking of which, it isn't that hard, it's just time-consuming and I'm experiencing a lack of motivation. It's still underway, so don't worry!

Also, Mato, question. Would you like me to send you some minor stuff that would aid your translation (minor text like PSI descriptions, various battle/menu text, etc.)? I would convert it to all caps so that you could use it with your translation, of course. I could also give you a patch that would change various graphics stuff, such as the PSI symbols (it would change them to their EB counterparts) and status ailment symbols (a few are different than EB, and might cause confusion).

Ha, I'm sure glad that this was the first thread I came across upon actually registering for here instead of just lurking in the comments.

I remember as a kid, I would try to play Mother 2 on the GBA, thinking I could just replace the Japanese with what I remember it saying in Earthbound, but I was dismayed to find out I couldn't do it. I wanted to learn Japanese so bad just to play the game, but I remember hearing that it would've taken years to become fluent in Japanese, and got discouraged then. But now, with Mato, Zunar, and a whole lot of other Earthbound fans with more programming skills than me, I might finally get to play all 3 games on the GBA!

Although, yeah, I heard the Mother 2 GBA sound sucked, but I didn't think it was that bad until I watched the trailer ._.
