you can do it as a whole, or you can break it down per game. i'll let everyone else state their thoughts before i give mine. try to give specifics. go!

Earthbound has taught me various things:
-Be aware of cults, they'll try to paint people with a large brush, sometimes in both ways of the meaning
-Some condiments aren't always such a good idea to use, and an automatic addiction to them is bad for your health
-Stuffed animals aren't just cute, they are functional
-It is not courteous to ride your bike full speed when your friends are on foot
-Rulers can measure things
-Don't let bullies' taunts get to you or your defenses will be compromised
-Be aware of stray or wild dogs
-Sometimes even the best inventions can fail in some ways
-My dad is a telephone
-Debit cards are useful
-Baby Sinclair isn't the only one who has a frying pan weapon proficiency
-Photographers are sometimes scary
-My Asian friend that I never met doesn't like hamburgers
-Sometimes sleeping at a hotel alone is the only way to progress
-When times get tough, open that huge delivery box of pizza, and stuff it in your face at lighting speeds
-Be very careful when the lights come off at a department store
-Abstract art can be very scary
-Be careful not to run tino things while running around in circles
-Zombies hate being stuck
-Hilarious sounding burbs can make you cry from laughter
-Doctors in trash cans are cute
-There are huge creatures in the water
-Most people go the way on the right, but some people go to the way on the left
-Time travel is bad for your skin

earthbound has taught me, how to be okay with my life. it has taught me to love myself it has taught me to love everyone else earthbound has taught me everything i already know. that i already knew it. earthbound taught me how important love is earthbound taught me how damaging love was earthbound taught me the hazards that love can cause. earthbound taught me that loneliness, is probably the most horrible thing on the planet earthbound taught me how important friends and family is. earthbound taught me how important it is to stand up for what i believe in

I play RPGs now. If it wasn't for EarthBound the only RPG I would be playing would be pokemon. If I had never played any EarthBound games then there would be a lot of other great games I would've missed out on. I've a lot of great people on the EarthBound forums, I think my life would be much duller without EarthBound.

I will admit, earthbound has made me more open to exploring into other RPG games. although i've always been a huge fan of the Dragon quest (dragon warrior) ones. i got more into final fantasy after Earthbound. especially final fantasy 8. OMG! that's awesome!

Every time I walk down my street, I always watch out for Hippies trying to attack me
I always make sure to keep a close eye on my Lamp
I make sure to smell games before buying them
I never enter sign-less, rectangle shaped doors anymore

Earthbound showed me that rpg games can be fun. But I still find most rpgs lack intrest for me, I have to find a game I like, I have to play it for a few hours before I say I like it or not. I'm more of a causal gamer, as I play games for the fun of it, not to get the high score or achevments or what ever is the hip thing today,
