So today, I was fiddling with the debug menu of Earthbound, and I finally got it so I could face Giygas (I'm assuming y'all have played Earthbound and beaten it at least once, if not, sorry about spoiling the game!), and then after fighting him a bit, until the praying part, I prayed and that image came up, and the game froze there, with Andonuts walking in his current position.



Anyways, I'm wondering if you guys see what I see, take a look in the water near where Andonuts and Apple Kid are standing... you can see the sprite of Ness in his PJs, and it almost looks as if he's been cut in half, and his body was thrown into the water with his remains staining the water to an extent. If you look at where Ness' face is supposed to be, it looks like his eyes are going > <...

Maybe playing Radiation's Halloween hack of the game is just making me think into this little glitch in imagery too much, but I figured i'd share this with you guys, maybe you'll get a chuckle out of it, who knows.

Weeeeeird glitch. Anyway, it always freezes up there unless you went down the hole in lumine hall behind the boss. No idea what up with the strange graphics.

Maybe it's the true game over screen.

Now that I really look at it, though, it's a "blued" version of pajama Ness, like other human enemies. A pajama man would've been an interesting enemy....
