really? I thought most of us got introduced to earthbound from the great snes game. or even some of us from the NES game before it. I've always thought that a lesser % of earthbound fans were people who found it through ssb. and... .

am I wrong. did most people get introduced to this game through ssb? it would be nice to know... I've always just assumed that most of us were old time fans. but then i realize not everyone here is in their 20's to 30's (I'm 28) and some of you are even in your early teens (maybe even younger) is it possible that a higher % of the fans are newcomers, who never got the joy of playing the game on the actual snes? that makes me sad to think about. it saddens me even more now, that this game is not out for virtual console. all the fans being forced to use emulation for all 3 games. that's pathetic. *almost cry's thinking about how unfair it must be for all the new younger fans*
before now, I've only been able to think about is how unfair it is to me (and old time fans like me). but now that i see it from a different point of view. maybe I should buy a few more post cards. and ask my friends to send them to japan. I mean... who knows ... if it will help.... we gotta try something. something that will make earthbound available for all fans of all ages. so we aren't forced into illegal piracy. for old fans as well as new fans, we all deserve earthbound, the entire world deserves earthbound. I'm now very interested in everyones responses to this thread.
wow after reading what you wrote mr saturn, right after hearing what Murcielo said, my heart is touched deeply. and now I have a very broken heart (broken by Nintendo). thanks for opening my eyes mr.saturn.
