My favorite game would be Mother 3. Earthbound is good, but the music in Mother 3 is outstanding in my opinion.
EDIT: I changed the tile, but I doubt it will matter at this point.

Hrm...that's a tough one. I'd have to say Mother 1's music is definitely the most memorable, I find myself humming it all the time. From a technical standpoint, EarthBound definitely wins, and it also has some of the most nostalgic music for me, from any game...or any music at all, really. But yeah, ignoring all of my personal bias and looking at it objectively, I'd have to say that Mother 3 does have the best music.

I find EarthBound to have the best music. They are all great, but EB's my favorite.

I love Earthbound's battle music, but I love basically all the Mother 3 music.

I enjoy the quirkiness of the Earthbound music, but I also like the complexity and deepness the Mother 3 music has. I like quirky happy music so my answer is Earthbound.

Mother 3 had more of an RPG kind of music while Earthbound's is funny and wacky.
I say Earthbound IMO.

Man, this is going to get me killed, but I like Tales of Phantasia music better than anything earthbound...
Earthbound is great for humming; Tales is for writing three volume fantasy/sci-fi epics to.

Mother 1's music is simple and catchy, Mother 2's music is wacky and Mother 3's music is a masterpiece. I love them all, but Mother 3 takes the cake.
