believe it or not there are actually people that go to forums and register names just so other people can't register them. they don't ever use them and sometimes never do.

it's just to prevent other people from having the name.

it make sense to me in a way. I guess. it's a form of internet control. like... what if somebody on starmen.net made a name of kyoo. and started spurting hate speeches left and right.

that would have people here believing it was me. at least for a moment they would. but that's just me trying to bring reason into what might not be reasonable at all.

but that's my job as I'm a man. (to make reason of everything, even the unreasonable)

Well my thing is that a lot of these users may actually have something to contribute. I mean quite a few of these people posted in the beginning and then just quite. Its the people who don't contribute at all that get to me the most. Its also the people who post for a while then quit that also confuse me as they just leave me wondering as to why they would stop posting? What I was thinking was that we could send a reminder to anyone who hasn't posted in a while, implying they actually posted in the first place. I mean people like $BB$ just posted a lot and left. And also its been a while since I've seen Mr. Sheldrake and PK saturn too I hope they didn't quit.

I just went to menbers then on the bottom I put it from post count in accending order and we have almost 30 members that haven't posted a single post.
is this common in forums? and there were several people who only posted once or twice

I miss a lot of people that used to go to this forum.

on the earthbound Central page (not the forum) make the picture on the banner wider, or make it repeat like the one on the forum does. because I have a big empty white spot in the banner on the right of the banner. and it looks tacky.

then again my computer is set to an unrealistic resolution.

I just bought a new monitor yesterday and have a really wide resolution too now. So I'll fix that at some point. I thought I had made it wide enough even for us weirdo resolution people, guess it wasn't enough though.

yeah I payed good money for this monitor (no you didn't your computer was a laptop for graduation) yeah but my mom payed good money for this extra wide monitor (dude how long ago was that) i said when I graduated high school (how old are you again) I'm 28 (... dude, you need to get a new computer) yeah I know, tell me about this things only got one processor core, and only 512mb of ram. but let me tell you, when it was new, people weren't like your note book only has 512mb of ram. they were like damn that's a lot of ram for a notebook. (I guess it's a good thing you got a top notch computer then) yeah other wise I'd probably have no other computer to use.

but I'm betting the extra wide monitors still cost a pretty penny on laptops, because the entire frame has to be built to support it. but then again I haven't ever bought a computer I measured it, it needs to be about 7/8 of an inch longer to fit the screen. I have no idea how wide that is in pixel talk. hold on let me open my paint program and see if I can figure it out... yeah if you make it 100 pixels wider it should work... that's just a little guess work (put the ruler up to the screen and edited the frame till it was the correct size and it said 105 pixels so I just rounded down to 100)
