Last year I bought a copy of MOTHER 1 for the Famicom but never really sat down to took a good look at it. So I did that just now! I saw this image on a YouTube thumbnail earlier today but didn’t know where the image actually came from: It appears to be an actual ad for MOTHER 2 on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console, but it seems kind of like overkill to advertise something like that. In a recent Tweet, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said: Hello, this is Iwata of Nintendo. A Wii U Virtual Console version of MOTHER 2 will be released on the 20th.
