Tips for Buying EarthBound

December 18th, 2012 | EarthBound, Images

Just a super quick update for today since I’m busy – I recently came across some really cool-looking EarthBound-inspired desktop wallpaper images that I want to share:

I especially like the realistic interpretations of Fourside and Threed/Threek!

Yeah I like those city ones too. I wonder if those kids on the building in the 4th one are from anything?

That doesn’t look much like threed and fourside…

Wow this is really cool.

Lucas, don’t take things too literally. You got to expand your mind an’ use this stuff creatively!

I know that but I don’t see anything that even resemble what I saw in earthbound. I like the last 3 pictures though.

Cool. I like the 4th and 5th one best.

Anyone know what the 4th one is supposed to be? I’m getting the feeling it’s the destruction of the world referenced to in Leder’s speech in MOTHER 3, but it might be an exaggerated version of the Sky Runner crashing into Threed in EarthBound, as well.

^Prelude to Mother 4? Dun dun dun.
