This is astonishing, absolutely love how everything works, from the Blue Starmen, to how the Barbots travel the same as Starmen, How some people give you colds, and how PK Beam gamma kills your opponent in one blow!

Just make the Status boxes look like the text boxes, and change “Spy” to “Check” (being nit picky XD) and this would look ever more legit!

I do have a fondness for this sort of “re-tro-make”, where instead of remaking it modern style, it’s remade in an updated but still retro style.

It’s why I like groups like AGD who have remade King’s Quest 1, 2 and 3 in the style of the later King’s Quest 5 rather than updating it to 3D graphics, or even high resolution 2D graphics like the Monkey Island remakes.

I’ll have to keep an eye on this one.

@DJMankiewicz The reson why they don’t remake a game in 8-bit or whatever-bit is because there are some retards who think good graphics make a game. That’s is basically why EarthBound didn’t sell to well

Her attack base is WAY lower in the original game(though Llyod’s is much higher as well, I guess H.S. hasn’t messed with the stats yet)

@’Star Her attack power WAS low in the original game. Actually, I was playing it yesterday, and she seemed a bit TOO weak. I mean, she was level 45 and was doing 5 damage with her best equip. Of course, those were enemies in Mt. Itoi, so that could be it.

@’Star It’s because she has Paula base attack, and she has a higher base attack than Jeff

Why not use the original EarthBound Snowman theme?

This is just a demo to show the effects of Shield and Beam Gamma, so none of the player stats have been changed yet.

If this project ever gets finished, then we should translate it into Japanese.

@ Fuzzy Pickels, The Japenese don’t mind the lack of EarthBound. Because they don’t have a lack of EarthBound. They already have the tree games on GBA, they arn’t complaining!

This is kinda on topic so I’ll put it here. I was looking through Mato’s old EB – EBO site and I watched a video on it called goback.avi. That “ghost noise” he was talking about is one of the sounds that might play during the Pokey battle if the anti-piracy flags are set up.
