EARTHBOUND Mother (NINTENDO FAMICOM 1989) VGA 85 ARCHIVAL CASE

Tips for Buying EarthBound

June 25th, 2011 | EarthBound, Images

Over on gamesradar is a neat article about video game bars in Japan. Chewy noticed that one of them, called the 8-Bit Cafe, uses the Japanese Mr. Saturn font:

The part that says “5かいは” (“5th Floor”) uses the Japanese Mr. Saturn font, probably using one of the fan-made computer fonts out there. It’s not everyday you see Mr. Saturn fonts out in the real world, so that’s a pretty neat find, and definitely only something a heavy-duty fan would spot!

The bar itself looks really cool, check out page 2 of the article above. They got classic systems set up for patrons to play while drinking and having a good time. Definitely sounds like a place I’d love to visit 😀

Wasn’t there a game bar somewhere in the US at one time? I remember reading about someone trying something just like this.
