Tips for Buying EarthBound

June 13th, 2011 | Events, Interviews, MOTHER 1+2, Videos

Years ago I went on a hunt for all sorts of EarthBound/MOTHER-related videos to add to the Starmen.Net YouTube page. One thing I managed to miraculously uncover was raw footage of the MOTHER 1+2 release party in 2003. It’s only of the talk show portion of the event (most of which I already translated here), but if you want to see the whole thing, here you go!

Part 1:

Part 2:

It’s all in Japanese, so there probably isn’t much to get out of these videos for most people. Like I said, I already translated most of the good stuff in that other fancier video, but there are a few little things here and there that got left out. I wish I had the time to subtitle the video, but alas, I don’t have the time for it. I’ll write up a summary of the video sometime though!

😮 Oooh, cool. So there’s stuff mentioned in here that didn’t get included on that Famitsu Wave DVD? I wonder if anyone else at this event shot video. I’d love to see more shots of the case full of all the figures.

I want that shirt. And on a slightly unrelated note, I want Itoi’s dog. Anybody know what breed he/she is?

Itoi’s pup is a girl and here’s more information on that shirt: http://gameswag.com/view/mother-12-starman-smaaaash-special-edition-t-shirt/ It’s extremely rare!
