The MOTHER 2 Jacket is one of the holy grails of MOTHER series/EarthBound collecting. It’s very rare to ever see one, and now one is up for sale on Yahoo Auctions Japan!
The starting bid is at around $1100 
Check out the page on Game Swag about the MOTHER 2 jacket here, it talks about its past and details. Not a whole lot is known about the jackets, so if anyone finds anything out (or buys this one!) you should add it to that page

Yes, it should be interesting. It’s extremely awesome and rare so it should fetch a high price. I’m thinking at least, *AT LEAST* $2500 but probably a lot higher.

O_O … I was gonna freak out, because this is the only piece of official MOTHER merchandise that provides +5 protection against rain and harsh weather, but I’m too shocked to do so now.

This is nuts! I can’t believe one of the infamous jackets is up for sale! If for some reason I were ever to come into possession of one of these treasures, I wouldn’t know whether to freakin’ rep it up all over the place or forever lock it up in a case.
With that said, it is kind of a weird looking jacket, but that just adds to the intrigue!

It was indeed. That was a pretty…..bad hit to my wallet there and I’m also a little diced out about having bought from a seller with only 3 feedback.
I may not be able to have it shipped to me for a while but I’ll be sure to post a ton of pics once it gets here.
