XX Stone recently finished an EarthBound-themed tower defense game! You can download the game here and read more about the game here.
You control EB creatures like Mr. Saturns, Tendas, and Foppies to try to stop Starmen from reaching your Saturn Fort. Every tower has 3-4 upgrades that you can use money to purchase, and your fort has 14 upgrades that you can use Starpoints to purchase. Apparently you can also control a Mr. Saturn with the arrow keys for a little more user interaction.

There’s no virus on it, it’s just mediafire that would make security errors pop up. I would use a different storage site, but mediafire is free and keeps your files indefinitely.
So feel free to download and enjoy it.

I would play it, but I don’t want to download. I know it probably does’t have virus’s on it. It’s just my ISP that only gives me 3GB per month.

I love this game! I’ve gotten up to level 40 on Hard mode. I’m determined to beat it!

It’s such a good game! I am amazed! I’ve finished the first two difficulties and will do Hard soon. I hope the artist continues to make content or a sequel. Only real fuss with the game is the dull music.

Simply awesome. I agree with LachyStar on a possible sequel/expansion. Would be fun to set up defenses in cities like Onett or Fourside… or even Moonside and Magicant o_o
Question: Is there any way to run the game in windowed mode?

The stupid security program on my computer deletes anything even remotely unfamiliar, so I can’t play it. I can, though, play the sudden death, though I suck at that. =(
