Weekly Round-Up #43

My busy-ness has been escalating lately, so I’ve been skipping the weekly roundups lately. I think they may turn into something more like “occasional roundsup”. I’m also gonna change them up a little bit, they’ll be more about stuff that happens off-site. I’m still tinkering with the format, so don’t mind the dust!

Cool Auctions & Merchandise

A lot of stuff’s showed up the past few weeks that I’ve slacked off. The sidebar updates throughout the day with the newest auctions of the day, so if you like keeping tabs on the latest EarthBound swag, keep your eyes peeled there. I also sometimes post good deals on the site’s Twitter account, for example a few days ago an EarthBound Player’s Guide was only $32.

What’s Up With Itoi

A few weeks ago Itoi flew over to Italy to oversee some stuff and see how some of his upcoming merchandise is made I think. He didn’t really get to see the country, he was mostly either in his hotel room or at the factory. He liked it a lot though and he learned a lot he said.
He also mentioned that this year he’s watched so much baseball that he’s not willing to tell anyone how much time he’s spent on it. He says that he’s going to do all kinds of stuff with his newfound extra time like walk the dog more/for longer periods of time and stuff. I guess the baseball season is over there or something now.

I can sympathise with Itoi; I watched a pretty intense amount of baseball this year, too. Now that the season’s over, I intend to do lots of stuff with my extra time, too, like… complain about baseball season being so far away.

I… really think that fanfiction link needs an NSFW tag… or a not-safe-for-any-sane-person one. I’m no prude or anything, but I actually gagged a little partway through and had to stop reading. And I’ve read some messed up stuff on the internet before. <_< Haha.
