A week or more ago, during one of the EarthBound Funktastic Gameplay things, Meeellla showed off a Ness figure she was working on. A few days later she painted it and quietly posted it on her flickr account, but apparently she has many fans because the figure has just hit a few gaming news sites. So I figure I might a well post about it too 
You can see the pics of it here. As you may recall, she also made all the clay models for the MOTHER 3 Handbook.
I don’t know what’s going to be done with the Ness figure, my guess is that it’ll join the other models in that cabinet of awesome, or maybe as a prize for something. I really have no idea, but it definitely looks great!

I didn’t really like the Mother 3 handbook clay models so much, but this one is pretty awesome! I’m impressed.

Amazing stuff. Hopefully Meeellla makes a mold out of some of these figures and makes at least 10 or so. I would love a Ness… err I mean… a “Regular Kid With Striped Shirt” figure! Ahem…

I would easily pay $200+ for this. I’m sure there are people out there who would pay more. She should do a short run of each of her figurines, put them to auction, and then send the money to Tomato and Jeff so that they can do a full translation/rom hack of Mother 1+2. Srsly.

^Probably for two reasons. 1) the obvious difficulty and 2) she probably didn’t want any logos on the figure.
