About a year ago, while I worked on the MOTHER 3 fan translation, a goofy bug turned up:
It quickly became an inside joke and everyone on the blog and on Starmen.Net was quoting it. It got to the point that there were even many requests to put it on a shirt and sell it or something. I kept telling people, “I dunno, maybe after the translation.”
Then I forgot about it until a little while ago when reid and Jonk asked me about it. They wanted to make a patch (a literal cloth patch) with the phrase on it and sell it on Fangamer, a new company they made. I was like, sure go ahead, knock yourselves out. The result is this:
You can check it out here on the Fangamer site. There are limited quantities, so if you happen to be one of those “welcome to the 
” fans, pick one up quick! Jeff and I don’t get anything out of this, but I thought people would like to know about it anyway

I’d just like to say that while I was never a fan of the “Welcome to th ” meme, and it got severely overused, that patch is absolutely fantastic.

It would have been a lot funnier if it weren’t quoted in every thread, every blog post, every time someone thought they were being unique, EVER. It got so ridiculously overused that it stopped being funny.

This is kind of off subject, but… I don’t know if anybody knows… There is game on the website ninjakiwi.com called Bird Family, and wheen you are buying up-grades in the game, an almost exact verion of the Buy Somethin’ Will Ya! song plays. Nice patch, too!

I was lucky enough to avoid most of the overquoting. I only ever saw one topic where every single post had a “:|” word fracture in it.
That being said, I really want that patch. But I guess for the time being I’ll have to settle for the line being my phone’s start-up text.
