The very latest Wario Ware game for the DS came out in Japan like a day or two ago. The cool thing about this latest installment is that you can create your own minigames and share them with people. You can see this here.
Anyway, I bring this up because Starmen.Net visitor LeonardoGolden imported the game and immediately made an EarthBound-themed mini-game. Well, technically, EarthBound Zero I guess
It’s simple, but it’ll be neat to see what stuff people come up with down the road, especially once the English-language version is released. Keep me posted so I can update about any good EarthBound minigames

Is it for DS or from the shoppping channel on the DSi?
(I can’t see the video at school, so I can’t comment on the minigame right now ^^; )
It sounds awesome
I can’t comment on the game yet though, because my school blocks the video. ^^;

Hey that’s pretty cool.
That’s… so… AWESOME!
Someone should make a minigame of Lucas running to Hinawa from chapter 6 :3
I made everything but the Moai statue. I was thinking of making a Starman, but I was too lazy to do it pixel by pixel XP
So you just have to tap Ninten to get him to run away from the Moai statue in the middle of the path? Yep, that’s random enough for Wario Ware!
For some reason, I saw something about “Swine Flu” video here to start with… After refreshing I got the normal video of Wario Ware.
Anyways, pretty cool!
The Ninten wasn’t pre-made…
I made him from scratch.
And there aren’t any EarthBound objects. Just 8-Bit Mario.
Heh, pretty cool – but LeonardoGolden I know for a fact you didn’t import that game if you know what I mean.

I instantly thought Mother and Rhythm Heaven.
Then I thought how amazing it would be to have a Mother game with a Rhythm Heaven-like battle interface. Mother 3 was already going in that direction with its time-based battle system, so why not?

I want to do a microgame that has you attack a character to the tune of the song (the Mother 3 sound battle system, in other wards).

THIS NEEDS AND ENGLISH RELEASE.
NOW.
If that doesn’t happen, I guess I could rally up all my fellow Wario Ware fans and have our own Do it Yourself Devotion and pursue an epic project to translate the Made in Ore ROM. Now hopefully one of us knows Japanese… Mato! Wanna help?
Warioware myself is most likely going to come to US, Since warioware is one of Nintendos priorities. I think it was already announced it was coming out here.
Of course it will be released on US.
“Warioware Myself” is the name of the location title
Yeah I know, I was just kidding about the whole not coming here thing. Hehe, of course it is.
Haha it would be awesome if you could make microgames take place in Earthbound battles with the backgrounds. It would probably work the same way as the “boss” microgame for the alien in the first Wario Ware.
…here’s a thought, make the level 3 version of said microgame as the final battle against Giygas and you have to “PRAY!” XD
