EARTHBOUND (Super Nintendo Entertainment System, 1995) GOOD SHAPE & TESTED

Tips for Buying EarthBound

Today’s song is Life’s an Inner Turn Radius. This song rocks, it’s one of my favorites in MOTHER 3. Maybe it’s because it’s only played during one very short part of the game, and because it sounds a lot different from the other Pigmask theme variations. I dunno. Maybe I’m just crazy πŸ˜›

I hate that horn sound. It reminds me of Magypsies. πŸ™

“Life is an Inner Circle Gap” was the title before the translation was done, and I thought it was beautiful. Of course I had no idea what an inner circle gap was, but the nonsense just made it even better.

Yeah, “Inner Circle Gap” is the ultra-ultra-literal translation, but it doesn’t really make much sense that way. I guess they don’t talk much about inside and outside turn radius things (I’m not even sure we have a real word or phrase for it in English) when you’re learning to drive in places like America, but Japanese driving courses are insanely detailed and talk about that stuff even.

The joke/reference makes a little more sense with this title though, which is why I went with it. It’s played inside the huge limo, and with something like that you HAVE to keep turn radius stuff in mind all the time πŸ˜›
